Using a home flight sim by definition means we lack much of the tactile feedback of a real aircraft. It's the reason I like switch clicks. In a real aircraft with wind/engines/cooling fans/gyro's etc they are not heard as clearly. But having the click in a home sim makes the experience more convincing. That's why I prefer sound mods where I can hear the MD-80 engines. Unrealistic. Yes. But having those sounds makes up from the other limitations of a home sim. Luckily we will eventually likely have a choice between another supplemental engine payware package. Choice is a good thing. Overall I'm excited to get the 777. It may not be the PMDG 744 I'm really holding out for, but it's a step in the right direction. Completely agree - which is why I would rather devs model the "louder" option and you can always turn it down in the settings if you don't like it. The other way around there's nothing you can do about it. Of note, even V1 thought the engine sounds were not great. And I love the 737 sounds - think they are spot on. They have an excellent low range that shakes the subwoofer for sure.
June 22, 20241 yr V1 is not biased either. He gave credit for FSS but said it still lacks and would be willing to help them.
June 22, 20241 yr Are all these streamers running with FG and/or other performance mods whilst streaming? I'm seeing lots of texture discrepancies going on, be better if they ran it default/vanilla and just lowered other in game settings like what the used to do. Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
June 22, 20241 yr I would never be able to live with the graphical discrepancies that FG seems to induce. I would rather have lower framerates. That one specific view of engines you don’t see from the cockpit. Meanwhile you get lightning smoothness. June 22, 20241 yr Blackbox771 is streaming now on Youtube and twitch. A real 787 pilot and certified to fly the 777 is probably the least bias streamer out there and he uses MSFS, X-Plane and P3D. Edited June 22, 20241 yr by JBDB-MD80
June 22, 20241 yr If you stand outside a 777 and listen to the engine start like people do in the sim, you would probably never hear another thing after that. Except for some loud ringing maybe.

He is talking g about it but is not sure what is wrong. Yikes! Not good…. Eric

He's not making it seem like it's a complete dud because of the trim issues. So "Yikes! Not good..." is a bit dramatic. Overall, he seems very positive. He made three approaches and on the final 3rd approach he’s saying it’s oscillating up and down and the FBW is too sensitive so yeah that’s not good. I don’t care if your word not allowed or not.
