It was supposed to drop today according to Jorg, but they delayed it to work on 2024.

I just remembered, the existence of the CAP-4 was actually leaked in September 2023 when a bug caused aircraft to appear in the Marketplace that shouldn't have. The UI said it was made by iniBuilds.

instead of being happily flying MSFS2020

All my third party airports work, GSX works and the Fenix works, so I have no reason to go back to 2020.

In a respectful manner, which rarely happens when internet warriors join the party. Even in these forums it was suggested heads should roll, lol. Kind of sad actually.

Very true, and venting in a disrespectful way accomplishes nothing. They put themselves on the line and should be commended for that.

Guessing the Caravelle FF is still on track or not?

Watching this stream, their faces say everything you need to know....

Or maybe they're shagged out from working 20hr days trying to get things sorted.

In the chat it looks like people with 4090's are having this issue as well....we will look into this and try to identify the issue within the next 24 hours

Hopefully they!re true to that.  I’m not normally this passionate but It’s really the one thing keeping me from being able to do much with 2024 at this point.

One of the issues with this Msfs story; is that Misobo try to do to much. They should concentrate to fix the bugs; and let the left over artistic aspect of the sim to others out in the world as it always been.

Everyone has been civil and this thread is extremely tame - so not sure why you felt the need to post this. People are allowed to vent and debate.

You skipped past this then:

They didn't yet mention one of the biggest bugs so far which is preventing the Uninstaller from uninstalling FS 2024

The uninstaller should be enhanced to have a little checkbox, to claim the refund as well, to streamline the process.

For me Wingsim SKSM and Gaya LGKO have vegetation on the aprons so can't use those. Otherwise, adding two at a time, the sceneries in my 2020 community folder settle in well in its 2024 counterpart. Installed 2024 updates from developers that released theirs.  FBW A380 dev build, Fenix and some freewares and Marketplace aircraft work well too. Only the PMDGs keep 2020 installed for me until either Asobo's fixes let me drag them over or PMDG releases their patches.

The start was a pain but over time we are getting there. I appreciate Jorg honestly apologizing and making an effort to do right by the community. I believe in a years time we should be in a good state as far as the sim and aircraft addons are concerned.

Greazer, give it time.

I have to confess that even being as critical as I usually am, FS 2024 even at it's present state pleases me already more than FS 2020 ever did...

It even already outranked MS FLIGHT (for me), which is a 1st time since MS FLIGHT...

I also felt a special thing with MS Flight that I know you did but many others didn’t. I’m wondering in 2024 if I can feel the hand of IL2 Alexey in the FM, as there’s something reminiscent of my all time top fm feeling, the default 109s in IL2, in 2024. Maybe the sounds in aggressive rolls is triggering it, but whatever it is, loving the fm in 2024!
