October 7, 20223 yr it feels like the 3000 series was released 5 minutes ago, I guess because of the limitations on availability really hard to justify a new gfx card purchase so soon after people finally managed to get hold of a 3000 series, almost feels like we were scammed!

October 7, 20223 yr I build a new system once every four or five years. It will be 2026 at the earliest for me so I'll happily wait for the 6000 series. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

We'll find out next week but I reckon what you said won't be true this time around. Why would Nvidia use MSFS as their example of double framerates and super smooth gameplay via DLSS 3 in their reveal presentation if MSFS still has stutters? I'm not saying that it will be perfect but I'm optimistic that we'll see a major improvement. Edited October 7, 20223 yr by steve310002
October 7, 20223 yr In my opinion the 4000 series is already "old" because they were conceived before de energy crisis, the next 5000 and 6000 series generations will be a game changer Edited October 7, 20223 yr by LIML2020

Next upgrade will be either the 13900k or Ryzen 9 X3D series. I have a 9900k now that is getting long in the tooth. Will have to have my Jetline System upgraded. I paid £1200 ish for mine on release day just over 2 years ago (3090) and will sell it here in the UK for around 600-700 I would say. Not bad for 2 years use.

Not bad for 2 years use. Thank you for being a reasonable person haha. I find people are trying to sell their used stuff (anything at all) for about 70-90% of what they paid for it. The moment something is opened, and in case of electronics, if the warranty is non transferrable, I've got a hard time paying much more than 50% of the original cost. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 7, 20223 yr I am also really happy with my 3090, I get stellar performance and with the undervolt in place she sits around 290W. it is a real shame EVGA have pulled out of the market. I really like their cards. I will be interested to see the reviews of the 4090 especially in MSFS.
