sloppysmusic started following learjet updates, Engine sound and Lear 35A Nose Wheel Steering - question

There is a definite 'phase' issue going on too. Usually happens when the exact same recorded sample is used for 2 engines. When they both are the same volume they produce a weird stereo phase effect that obviously isn't realistic. The way to avoid this is to use 2 separate sound files for each engine or the same file with tiny eq changes. If both engines use the exact same file on pc instead of separate files then phasing is inevitable when engines are same spool rate.

Lear 35A Nose Wheel Steering - question
sloppysmusic replied to GACSavannah's topic in Flysimware Turbojet Aircraft
Which button is this? Searched but found no answer. CWS but no MWS found. I meant on actual yoke hardware not in vc! -
How can you tell your current version? Is it in the name of the installer file?

BeyondATC official poll - release now or later?
Sethos replied to Fiorentoni's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
You mean that Cyberpunk that sold by the millions, is highly rated on Steam and is getting glowing recommendations after its initial rocky lunch, with majority of its backlash coming from the console version, with an impressive post-lunch support in terms of massive patches and gameplay changes? Even got a really good piece of DLC content that was also well-received with very positive reviews? Yeah, let's hope it becomes Cyberpunk 2077 then. -

BeyondATC official poll - release now or later?
Fiorentoni replied to Fiorentoni's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I‘m afraid you‘re right. People that have been on the beta have very clearly said that this is far from reliable for IFR flights, and on top of that people have really high expectations. This together is a recipe for disaster. -
To update an existing ASFS installation, simply download and install the package over the top of your existing installation. Is it now ok to do the above? Last beta recommended a full uninstall and reinstall is why I'm asking.

AIGround and AIFlow can only be used with MSFS injected traffic. Since FSHud injects its own traffic, they have no influence on FSHud.

Hello Gerald, MCE is no longer able to communicate with PF3 if I advise the FO to do so. I can hear the FO speaking but PF3 is not reacting. If I answer myself, PF3 is reacting correctly. This is with the latest v 3.7.8.

April 25, 2024 MSFS Development Update
Virtpilot replied to David Mills's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
It has become a habit to me to check these development update news here at Avsim every Friday. I hope that "Flagged by community" nonsense keeps away from here.... Keep up the good work and thank you about these update news. -
I agree with Dan. Set Ai sliders to zero and close AIG Traffic Controller. Do a few flights into both airports. If no problems then definitely Ai related. Use AiCompanion - BGL Report to check for errors.

It fixed the problem, so I'm not sure what your saying?

Are most of you using default settings? Not in passive mode. Or anybody have any recommendations on settings? Thanks Mike

Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024

24 hours is more than enough to cover the common complaint of day / night difference for some users. -

Doubt programming resources is different whether it was 24hr or 24 weeks. Always amusing when people call something a waste when it’s a feature they’re not interested in. -

London and Paris, this sounds like AI related, cause if you approach these, the sim is loading AI and one of it maybe damaged. So disable AI to test. Remember what you added recently. This can help you finding the faulty file. If you have AIG run the installer and run the fixing functions. Dan

There's been open talk about censorship on their own forums, with evidence, now they want to censor here as well? Nah. -
Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
Krakin replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
When did they say they thought the weather as a whole was fine? I actually remember Jorg promising that they were revamping the weather and we would really be amazed by what they were cooking up. Well now we know that this ended up being moved over to 2024. As for expectations, I think it is promising that they developed dynamic tornadoes when no one really asked for it because to be frank, most of us didn't think it would be possible. -

You have avid simmers who want to help inform and promote the MSFS platform on the world's preeminent flight simulation website by simply copying and pasting the info they release ......and this is their lame response. Nothing more than a feeble attempt at controlling the narrative, unfortunately at the expense every bit of passion and goodwill demonstrated by the community. SMH - What a bunch of fools. -

Nonsense ignore them, once literature is posted to the internet it can be copied and pasted anywhere as long as credit is given. They have no right to ask you to not post it, they can't do anything about it and there are far more important things they should concentrate on with their own forum. -
I know and appreciated, but some advices are contradictory. One wants to go left and another wants to go right.... 😉
