June 22, 20241 yr After some playing around for me personally the artifacts are the reason I am not using it. I stay with AutoFPS and get reasonable fps. So that’s ok. Waiting for a 4000+ GPU for FG.
June 22, 20241 yr Mind blown. Never thought I'd see 60fps on a RTX2060, but here we are. Thanks Lossless Scaling.
June 22, 20241 yr Hi guys, I have one issue I need help with please. Loving this little program so far.. My issue - Once I have this app running doing it's thing it will lose it's job if I press on my Real Sim Gear touch screen GTN750. I have to then press my mouse on the main monitor to get it back working. No real big deal just annoying and a bit of an immersion spoiler.
June 22, 20241 yr Having quite mixed results with this, it does take me from 15 fps at EGLL with the Fenix and FSLTL up to 30 fps, but there is a laginess that makes it a little unnerving to use. Giving it something simpler to deal with i.e. Visionjet at a GA airfield, it does look more impressive. As someone else said earlier in the thread, if you already have great performance this will make it look even better. But if the underlying sim is struggling due to hardware being overloaded, then I can't see how inserting additional frames can solve that - to my uneducated brain in this technology space, that would surely result in the very smooth but laggy experience some are seeing. I guess my 3080ti (£2.5k during covid) and Ryzen 5950x just doesn't cut the mustard anymore! For me it will be more effective to dial down the details to get better performance, but a cool little app. Edited June 22, 20241 yr by EGLD

I refused to pay the 3080 1K€ when it came out and I was lucky enough to get the 3090 for 1.750 €... in January 2021! June 23, 20241 yr Just want to say it works fine for me with my 3060TI with DX12. Same doubling the FPS as FG without the flickering in static windows. Worth the $8.00.

June 23, 20241 yr 60 FPS with a 1080ti in 2K. This literally saved my good old GPU-friend from being replaced this summer. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
June 23, 20241 yr I got it and I also cant stand the artifacts below 30 FPS native. Anything above I dont need FG anymore because the sim is smooth. What I actually use lossless for is the sharpening option that comes with nvidia image scaling. That set to 1, combined with 1440p on 1080p monitor, DLSS+DLAA and in-sim sharpening on 200, gives me a crisp, absolutely natural looking image.
June 23, 20241 yr I found a sweet spot right now and it involves just using X2 as trying it with X3 produced weird "wobbling" effects around the edge of the screen. I suppose I could get used to it as I was up to around 100fps but I'm happy with around 70fps and total smoothness with no artifacts. Apart from my monitor that is connected directly to the NV4090 GPU, I have 3 small monitors with a USB connection that I use only for other accessories (Maps, controls, etc.) At the same time that I disconnect those USB monitors and leave only my main monitor, TOTAL SUCCESS. Now I have some exquisite 48/144 (x3) with LSFG. It's really soft and beautiful what this does. I have gone further and set everything to Ultra and increased the traffic between 75% and 95% for testing and everything is extremely smooth, without stutters. The only bad thing is that I have lost my 3 USB monitors, but I will try to find a laptop to install those Apps and connect the USBs there. But what does bother me is that I no longer have manual control over Self Loading Cargo since I believe that it cannot be installed on another PC and work via network and have it on the same FS PC, only in automatic mode which makes it miss a lot of interactions. Does anyone know if it is possible to work SLC via network? Edited June 23, 20241 yr by elee Eduardo Lee (MROC)

Yes, you have to keep base rate at 30fps, or close to it (down to 25fps seems to be ok to my eye). Personally I find the difference between 30fps and 60fps quite noticeable, especially with headtracking, so to be able to play at 60fps is really wonderful and imo gives a better sense of flight. June 24, 20241 yr Bought recently this app for MSFS. I'm using a 2070 super with a i7 12700 kf. I have a mix of medium, high and ultra settings and I cap frames in RTTS to 30. My system can maintain 30 fps and with LS frame can have a steady 60 fps. Never got this experience before in MSFS. The only downside I'm having is, when flying at night all ground lights flickers when panning around. Tried different settings but nothing worked. Is someone having the same flickering lights? 1pc:WIN11/64, MSFS,BATC,TRacKir5,SPAD Next,FSUIPC 7,GSX I7-12700KF/64Gb DDR4 3600MHz/ASUS TUF 4070 TI SUPER /GEKOGS105/Alpha Flight Control/CH throttle,Ped/SAITEK InstR/Radio Panel 2pc:WIN10 LNM
June 24, 20241 yr Well, I found an issue. For some reason my FPS plummets when I have both AI traffic + Lossless Scaling turned on. Not sure why. Even if I then turn off traffic my FPS continues to be awful with Lossless Scaling until I restart the flight. Very odd. With Lossless Scaling turned off, having traffic doesn't seem to have any major impact and my PC maintains 30fps. Doesn't matter if I use MSFS AI traffic or FSLTL - same issue. Very strange. I have to have no traffic if I want to use LS. EDIT: Hmmm, after further testing I'm kinda stumped. Seems to depend on airport. But I don't get how it's fine at somewhere like KSFO with traffic, but terrible at my local NZAA. Oh the joys of flight sim. Edited June 24, 20241 yr by s0cks
