  1. Past hour
  2. Uh no, you are the one who "advised" so on the HiFi forums. Damian, the dev, on the other hand said flight plans work fine and are actually better for IFR flights.
  3. Im enjoying this plane and it's unique handling. Wondering about the pitch down attitude change when deploying flaps. I know some planes do this even with the increase in lift when extending flaps. Can anyone elaborate on this? I'm assuming it's accurate in the pa38
  4. The new question is 'WHEN" will they get to it? Been waiting since xp11 for networking fixes, submitted numerous bug reports with log files. Matter of fact, they also receive links to videos showing the issues. Here we are in XP12 and still waiting. I was a beta tester for Traffic Global and their aircraft would disappear once AI aircraft crossed over to the external computers/visual displays, most of what takes place in XP12. It took me three months to find the issue, the issue was related to X-Plane 12 FOV. Once Jim was aware of the issue it was corrected during the next beta run and was fix during the following update. So the questions aren't are they going to fix these issues, it's "WHEN" will they get them fixed!
  5. Looks like a high angle of attack for landing! No view of the runway.
  6. It may not be censorship but it's not plagiarism either. Nobody's been passing off the posted content as their own. Maybe there's a valid concern on MS's part regarding the occasional ammendment to the updates but it does feel more like trying to increase traffic to their own site. I get pretty much all the info I need on this site so this move won't steer me over there. They could simply have asked/insisted that a link be pasted with the post for readers to check for ammendments.
  7. Currently it's advised to disable the flight plan in AS to get multiple layers and realistic weather.
  8. I knew about HAGS on for FG but that's the first I've heard about Game Mode on for X3D CPUs. Can you explain the logic behind that?
  9. FYI, a screenshot can't show what the image on YOUR monitor looks like. It's just a grab from the graphic cards frame buffer, not a photograph of the monitor output. Screenshots will look slightly different on every single monitor. Should be common knowledge.
  10. They're simply amazing pictures, not seen those kinda clouds since pre-SU7, Passive or Preset Control?
  11. About the CS Herk C-130 sounds: https://www.captainsim.org/forum/csf.pl?num=1713634341 Read that Thread, possible there would some good sound at a near future.. cheers πŸ˜‰
  12. I am at FL 320..Using Active Sky Preset, So much for no high altitude clouds.
  13. You're correct I was hasty in my response and my law degree did indeed come from the back of a cereal box, but the point remains they need to concentrate on the shortcomings on their own forum before worrying about what's posted here.
  14. I really love the first place a bunch go is to pitchforks and hysterics. MS isn't trying to censor anything. They are simply asking a link instead be posted. Also, I don't know where you got your law degree, but I would ask for a refund because there is zero truth in this statement - In any case, David has been asked (kindly again) to stop copying the entire post and instead linking to it. No doubt to not only ensure the correct info is avail but also I imagine to drive traffic and engagement to their forum.
  15. Please take note of the red text on the downloads page of the AxisAndOhs website. The StreamDeck plugin is a free hobby project, it is not part of the AAO retail package. The only purpose for the plugin was to demonstrate how to use the AAO WebAPI, it was never meant to become a major feature. To make your own Actions for it, you need to know the basics of the MSFS SDK, RPN programming and ideally a bit of graphics design. No manual or documentation can teach this in such a way that it is easy to do. It requires time and dedication, which is why most people rely on the SD profiles that talented authors provide. "Lorby" =me doesn't provide any profiles - I only provide the hammer, I don't build the house. The parameter that you mention determines how often the data on the SD is refreshed. That's all. Set it to 1000 and the SD will only refresh once every second. So if you feel that the SD plugin is being clogged up by too much data, make the refresh time bigger. The parameter has no other practic al implication than making the SD faster or slower, and I doubt that this has anything to do with your problem. You can only try and observe. There is no way to tell what could be causing your troubles, sorry. The problem doesn't even have to be related to the SD or the plugin (or too many of them operating at the same time?), it could be a SimConnect issue, a problem in the sim or something in AAO. There are infinite possibilities, depending on what has been assigned to which action doing what exactly in AAO and/or the sim....etc...
  16. Yes my apologies here. Received an email from Chris yesterday. The Fulcrum site is back on track and passed orders are still there....... My apologies again........ Everything is explained in the email. Things are moving, wish him well and hope he can put his business back on track. Btw i've never asked any refunds on my orders, even when others were doing so,thinking it would help him to come thru, hence also my frustration.
  17. Today
  18. Easily the best freeware available for MS2020. I enjoy it so much. With one proviso: There is still no ship sailing up the river Parrett to the wharf at Dunball! πŸ˜‚
  19. I fully agree with you, please please send the patched textures to me. Berano
  20. Did a few spins - absolutely terrifying and exhilarating at the same time! Great aircraft - highly recommended. Full first impressions video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UgL51oG2DI
  21. No I don’t Carl, I believe that this has to do with my sticking to the weight and balance procedure in the FMC and the EFB as I described it several times in this thread and also using the two Simbrief profiles for the RR and GE versions when planning my flights. Try to make it shorter and you are likely to experience the takeoff difficulties you (and many others) experience. Or - more simply - I may be lucky! But I prefer the first option...
  22. Laurie, thank you for that - very impressive!
  23. Landclass shouldn't affect mesh. Are you using any mesh in that area?
  24. Those are low limits the user has control over within the program. I am blessed to have the horsepower for more traffic but my preference is to keep it light.
