Spotter grabbed a shot of G-BOAF loading passengers and baggage before departure. All four burning copious amounts of fuel. Control check in progress as the tug leaves us behind. "Positive rate, gear up, and TURN!" Concorde executing a hard left turn out over Jamaica Bay in the Canarsie Climb. Engaging the reheats climbing through FL270 to push us through the Mach. FL570, Mach 2.03. New York to London in 3:15.

Hi folks, Today i was spotting at heathrow and a QANTAS Boeing 747-400 Came in, what is onw quite rare with all the A380'. The Aircraft was a charter and had originated in Frankfurt Here are some images!!!

Curious with anyone else with P3d v4.3 and ftx england installed (along with ftx global here as well and Utx).. It takes nearly 6 minutes to load into runway 27 at EGLL heathrow with ftx enabled for england.. if i turn off all of ftx england in sceneryconfigeditor then it loads in 1min 45 seconds.. Curious if this is normal or not.. i run on OS SSD + P3D SSD as well. Thanks in advance -
Hey all, My second attempt at the insane 11+ hour flight from Heathrow to Tokyo-Narita, over VATSIM. All of this was in real time, and I had VATSIM Supervisors check in twice during the flight! (Luckily enough, not during one of my "executive rest periods" i.e Nap Nap Time! ) The first time I tried, I fell asleep right after entering Japanese airspace.. So frustrating! -- Speedbird 5 prepping for her voyage, filling up on food for the airplane and the PAX. -- SID and RW is in, arriving EZY aircraft wished me good luck on my trip over UNICOM, what a lovely chap. Loving the reflections on the glass @ Aerosoft/SimWing's Heathrow.. -- Takeoff and banking right on a typical dreary, cloudy, British morning. -- Fast forward 10 hours, here we are planning the approach into Narita. We'll be using the CVCSA STAR into ILS34L. The furthest ring is our DME arc from the NRE VOR, we'll be making our turn along this arc. The next ring in is our gear down marker. The folks at Narita want the gear down 12NM from the IYQ VOR to prevent ice-blocks falling into populated areas. The last ring in is 4NM from IYQ, which is our Landing Flap extension point. Again, Narita wants a delayed flap extension schedule, so we'll be nice and comply ;-) -- A random shot before making the arcing turn. -- Just before we bring down the gear @ 12NM from IYQ. -- Holding 169 knots, just before we bring out landing flaps at 159 knots @ 4nm from IYQ. A/P Disconnected, the big bird is mine after almost 11 hours! -- Slowed to VRef as we bring out landing flap 25. -- 11 hours and 5 minutes on the clock. Speedbird 5 has landed! Jobs not done yet though, Narita has a BUNCH of complex intersections. *sigh* -- Rampie got this picture of 'er after we docked up. Lovely! -- This brings an end to our pseudo trip report! The following are shots from my FSX setup. Resolution has been lost somewhat sadly in the sceenshots... I am an internal member and beta tester at AIG (Alpha India Group) and FAIB (A32X Series, 737 Series, 747 in development). What you see here is a professional carefully built AI setup with material from AIG and its associated painters work. I use ORBX FTX England, Simwings Heathrow 2014 Xtended (ADE tweaked to my liking), REX Direct and ORBX BOB. This entire AI setup is self built with the latest flightplans and liveries. I do not use any AI programs like WOAI or Ultimate Traffic. I do not endorse Ice Traffic.

Hey! I am deeply interested in the UK2000 EGLL scenery.. And my question is: "Does this scenery pack come with AI?" The reason I want to know this is is because I have "the World-of-ai" AI mod.. And if it doesn't, what is a good payware AI? ---------------------------- Tom van de Wetering

Hi!I have problem with MS ATC at EGLL in FSX Deluxe + Acceleration + Just Flight: Traffic X. When I try to land or take-off from Heatrow, I'm told by default ATC to start/land on runways 09R or 09L. I've tried to set wind both from ~270 or ~90 degrees. I also try change in ADE 1.50 runway properties => primary (09) land/t-off no/no, change primary from 09 to 27, set orphan ILS for 09 runways. And nothing help. I've tried this on UK2000 Heatrow, Ray Smith's EGLL from Avsim and even on borrowed Heathrow from Mega Airports. And I've constant get 09 runways set, although I would like to use set of 27's (commonly used in real life). If anybody had solution or any sugestion is hugely welcome to share this one with me. :)

I'm ready to buy some new scenery for the London area, including the city itself as well as the major regional airports. Which scenery add-ons, as single products or in combination, would you recommend for best visual detail? Between performance and visuals, I would rather sacrifice performance for better views. That the objects appear to be 3-dimensional is also important, as I want to be impressed by the views while flying at low altitudes, not just flying by high above all the interesting sights. Some of the choices I've been considering are Orbx England EU, Aerosoft VFR London X and City Airport, Aerosoft Mega Airport London-Heathrow X, UK2000 Heathrow Extreme and London City Extreme. (If this question has been recently discussed elsewhere, please point me to the appropriate thread(s).)

Powering out on a dawn departure. Gotta love those reheats in this light! Thundering off 27L on a chilly morning. Passing the moon on our way to Mach 2. Accelerating through Mach 1.4 here and climbing fast. Almost at the Mach 1.7 cutoff. Getting darker since we're heading westbound and traveling faster than the earth rotates. Concorde makes the sun go down again, so these passengers will get two sunrises in one day. Pretty awesome, really. It'll be pitch black when we land in Barbados, arriving earlier than when we left London.
